Orchestra and Concert Choir to present holiday concert

The orchestra and Concert Choir are teaming up to perform a concert featuring a medley of Christmas music Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium.

The ensembles, under the direction of Dr. Kelly Neill, assistant professor of music, and Dr. Michael Chance, assistant professor, director of bands, and coordinator of the instrumental division, will together perform “A Feast of Carols” arranged by Randol Alan Bass. The concert will consist of a number of traditional Christmas carols.

The orchestra will also perform “Fantasia on Greensleeves” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and violin soloists Lisa Petersburg and Laura Yates will perform “Concerto in D minor” for two violins by Johann Sebastian Bach.
