TV16 News and KVHU Radio to air election night coverage

The University’s TV16 News and KVHU 95.3 FM radio station will produce election night coverage for residents of Searcy and White County.

Coverage will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature guests to comment on election issues and results as they occur. Live reports and interviews from the courthouse will also be shown as local election results are announced. TV16 is available on White County Cable channel 16 and streamed live on the Web via streaming.harding.edu.

KVHU will provide updates on national, state and local races throughout the evening. Each hour will provide national coverage by Fox Radio News, and local and state coverage will be provided by the KVHU and TV16 News teams composed of students and faculty.

“The election coverage will provide our media and journalism students with a unique learning experience,” Dutch Hoggatt, professor of communication, said.
