Christian Worldview

The mission of the physical therapy program at Harding University is to develop individuals who are prepared to practice contemporary physical therapy from a service-oriented Christian worldview based on scientific evidence, professional ethics and responsibility.

Intensive Curriculum

The DPT program is a continuous eight-semester study comprised of 110 semester hours of coursework and an average of 1,600 hours of supervised clinical experience. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the physical therapist licensure exam. New for Fall 2021 is an accelerated B.S. in exercise science-DPT program. The Mission Practicum

The Mission Practicum sets Harding's PT program apart! This required course experience is an international mission setting. It occurs in the third year of the curriculum between the fall and spring semesters. Apart from the practicum, PT students will have opportunities to serve in the community.
