Here's what Honor Choir members say about their experience -

•Thank you for such an amazing summer memory!  The skills and tools I learned about music I will certainly carry throughout high school and the friendships I made will be just as valuable.  The repertoire was engaging and unique and the choreography was fun and high energy. I can't praise the program enough!
•I'm really happy that you do Honor Choir. I've been to a different choir camp and it just wasn't personal like Honor Choir was. I really love being there.
• I love Honor Choir and I plan on coming every year until I'm in college!  The entire experience has helped me become a better musician and the friendships built and the memories made there are unforgettable.

The Curriculum

Your week at Harding University will give you an opportunity to work intensively in choral music and related fields, simulating a college-level music experience. You'll live in university housing and eat your meals in campus dining facilities. Each day you'll study sightsinging, music literature, and how to present yourself as a performer. And you'll rehearse some great choral literature, preparing for a final concert. There will also be special performances, events, devotionals and recreational activities. Registration is on Sunday afternoon, July 13, between 2:30 and 4:30. The Final Concert will be given on Friday night, July 18, and you may depart after the concert or on Saturday morning. Participants receive, at no extra charge, one hour of college credit in Music 131 (Chorus).
