    The Waldron Center

The Waldron family's journey in business planted the seeds for the entrepreneurship and family business center

The Waldron Center for Entrepreneurship & Family Business was created to focus on entrepreneurial academics and competitions for students and as well as business development for startups and family-owned businesses.

Our Mission

The Waldron Center supports entrepreneurship & family business through academic engagement, workshops, & outreach to build a community of innovation.

Our Founders

How a second-generation Tennessee business, Waldron Enterprises, gave rise to the vision for the Waldron Center at Harding University

The Waldron Center is funded by David and Betsy Waldron of Murfressboro, Tennessee. Waldron, a 1976 Harding graduate, returned to a family business after college. His desire to create a resource at the University emphasizing family business and entrepreneurship led to the establishment of the center. David and brothers Charles and Greg operate Waldron Enterprises.
