Speakers Bureau

Our faculty members here at the College of Bible & Ministry not only offer a broad range of backgrounds, education and experience to the Harding University community, but they are also available as a resource for your congregation. You will find a link below to a directory that lists their names, contact information and the types of presentations they offer. Included on this list are individuals who are willing to serve as Fill-In and Interim Preachers. Speakers for women’s events are also listed. Explore the full list via the Speakers Bureau pdf.

Salt, Leaven & Light newsletter

The College of Bible & Ministry seeks to lead all students to know, live and share God’s Word and to understand, love and serve God’s world through and beyond their chosen vocation.

Salt, Leaven, & Light is a periodic publication of the Office of Church Relations that reports on our efforts to meet that goal. I am privileged to associate and work with the outstanding Bible faculty who serve here. Their work truly provides “salt, leaven, & light” in our world.

Church Leadership - Discounted Counseling Skills Certificate

Through the College of Education's Mental Health & Wellness department, the Graduate Certificate in Counseling Skills is being offered to church ministers, shepherds and ministry leaders at a significantly reduced rate. University Hosted Events

In addition to events hosted by the Office of Church Connections, the University also holds numerous events for youth group students, high school students interested in preaching, and youth ministry staff interested in hiring summer interns. See all event details below.

Uplift

UPLIFT is a summer camp for students entering the 7th grade through graduating seniors on the campus of Harding University. While most campers come with their youth groups, they can also come individually. Each day, students will go to classes and hear speakers, with plenty of time devoted to recreation and entertainment as well. They stay in Harding's dormitories at night and eat in the campus cafeteria. Learn more about dates and registration at upliftonline.com.

Kerusso Experience

Kerusso is a week-long preacher training camp for 9th-12th grade high school boys. Students spend the week on Harding's campus learning Bible study methods and sermon preparation and delivery from faculty, students, and friends. More importantly, perhaps, is that they learn that they, too, can serve the LORD in a lifetime of ministry.

Please prayerfully consider any young men from your congregation whom you feel may benefit from this type of instruction and inspiration, and offer to connect them to Kerusso. The usual fee is $200. Applications and contact information are all available on this page. Also, be sure to look up previous year's Kerusso Experience on Facebook to see pictures and videos from the week. Feel free to call or e-mail any of us with any questions that you might have, and to pass on this information to any who might be interested.

We seek nothing more than to serve the LORD and his church through this endeavor. We solicit your prayers and your partnership as we aspire to raise up a new generation of kingdom servants.
