International Education

The Swaid Institute for International Education was established in 2023 through the generosity of Dr. Swaid and Christy Swaid. We aspire to broaden global literacy and cultural understanding while enhancing students’ Christian worldview as they strive to carry out the Great Commission.

About Dr. Swaid Swaid

Born in Eilaboun, Israel, Dr. Swaid Swaid came to Harding at 16 years old with his friend, Khalil Jahshan. As an international student, Swaid understands the impact Harding has on students who study here as well as the life-enhancing experiences students have while studying abroad. Swaid has served on Harding’s Board of Trustees since 2022 and is an esteemed neurosurgeon who serves his patients and community following the example of Jesus Christ.
