Information Technology Services (ITS) is an area within Harding's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) department and reports to the Vice-President of IS&T and CIO, Mike Chalenburg.
Our goal in ITS is to provide excellent service and capability through the use of technology. As such, we provide applications, equipment and services for Harding. To accomplish this, there are five areas within ITS. They are:
Application Development Services (ADS)
Develops and enhances software and web services for Harding University.
Application Technical Services (ATS)
Provides configuration and administration services for functional applications.
Client Support and Consulting (CSC)
Supports the Harding faculty and staff by providing Help Desk support as well as consulting for existing and future technology-related projects for the Harding community.
Database and System Administration (DSA)
Provides and maintains databases and hardware and software systems for university applications.
Network Services (NS)
Designs and provides the infrastructure for all of Harding's network, telecommunication and cable TV needs.
Student Support and Communications (SSC)
Serves student's technology needs primarily through DormNet, a service for connecting resident students and providing support for all students on campus.
