If you have questions about not being able to add a class, talk with your advisor. Many courses have restrictions that must be cleared prior to registration.
Prerequisites
Some courses have prerequisites that must be completed prior to registration. Failure to complete prerequisites may result in administrative withdrawal from a class. Check the catalog for specific details.
Restricted Classes

Course Overload
The maximum number of hours undergraduate students may take without an overload authorization is 18. Maximum hours for graduate students are determined by each individual graduate program. Graduate Students should consult with their program to understand their policy. To register for any hours over the maximum allowed, undergraduate students must meet the policy requirements as stated in the catalog and request an overload exception. The request form is located on Pipeline under the student tab and in the registrar's form box. Graduate students wishing to take hours over the maximum must contact their advisor.
