We are pleased to announce the final phase of Legacy Park Residential, Legacy Park Commons, a twelve-unit condominium project. The units will be built as the final stage of Phase V and are available now for pre-construction sale.
We anticipate beginning construction in the fall of 2019 with completion in the fall of 2020. This will complete the Legacy Park Residential development on the Harding campus, which already includes 36 individual home sites and three townhomes.
Legacy Park Commons will offer high quality, low maintenance condominium living, featuring the following:
- Unit size: All units are approximately 1,500 square feet in size with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a sun room that faces east toward the Harding campus.
- Parking: Spaces are provided for each unit on the west side of the building.
- Fees: Owners will pay a monthly condominium fee to a Property Owners Association to cover ongoing exterior maintenance costs (roof, exterior surfaces, landscaping, etc.) Owners are responsible for all interior maintenance of the condominium.
- Cost: Selling price is approximately $205,000 per unit, with the price varying depending on location within the building.
Legacy Park Residential is a planned community with a set of covenants in place to protect property owners and Harding University. The covenants are designed to be compatible with Harding's purpose of providing a quality education in a Christian environment. Harding maintains first right of refusal upon subsequent sale.
Owners may choose to lease or rent out the condominium on a long-term or short-term basis if they do not plan to occupy it. The owner may handle arrangements themselves, or the University can manage the rental through Harding's Heritage Inn in exchange for a percentage of the rental rate.
Neighborhood amenities include:
- Use of University facilities including library and fitness complex
- Admission to campus Arts & Life series events
- Access to the campus food court and restaurants
- Resident ID card and account
We invite you to consider living in a development that is within the borders of the beautiful Harding campus. As a resident, you can enjoy a vibrant Christian university community, which encourages interaction and community building between homeowners and Harding students as they live and learn in shared spaces.
