Program History
ARC-PA, the accrediting body for the education of Physician Assistants, awarded the “Certificate of Accreditation” to Harding’s program in March of 2005.
Curriculum
The Physician Assistant Program leads to a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with 112 hours total (53 hours in the didactic phase and 59 hours in the clinical phase).

Our official building name is Henry & Grace Farrar Center for Health Sciences, and we are located at the corner of Dr. Jimmy Carr Dr. (Remington) and E. Park.
Patient Skills Center
The Patient Skills Center helps train PA students in physical exam techniques, patient communication, and clinical skills in a setting similar to that of a clinic and by using standardized patients who have been trained to portray patients with specific symptoms, conditions, or disease states.

Accreditation

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) is an independent accrediting body that evaluates and accredits PA educational programs in the United States. The ARC-PA is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Admission Updates

The Class of 2026 has started their classes and applicants are currently being interviewed for the Class of 2027!

Our current CASPA cycle opened April 25, 2024, and closes November 1, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.
