Our Mission
The Department of Communication provides students with a foundation in communication theory and practice consistent with Christian ideals.
Goals
The Department of Communication will achieve its vision by pursuing three goals:
Curriculum. Provide a dynamic, student-centered curriculum that promotes experiential learning and reflects academic and professional best practices.
Connection. Provide opportunities for students to collaborate with peers, faculty, alumni and other communication professionals around the world to broaden their worldviews and increase their professional networks.
Collaboration. Provide collaborative degrees such as Film Production, Integrated Marketing Communication and Multimedia Journalism.
Whether you're interested in production, journalism, photography or other forms of media, there are many ways to get involved. Students who volunteer or are hired for staff positions gain invaluable experience to apply to their future careers, as well as a solid portfolio to present to future employers.
At Harding University, you'll have the opportunity to be transformed academically, relationally and spiritually so you're prepared to change the world.
