Project Lab
Our project lab is used by all engineering students to develop and construct a wide range of projects. It contains electronic assembly equipment, test equipment, tools for light fabrication, two 3-D printers, a laser cutter, miter saw, band saw and drill press, allowing students to manufacture parts and projects.
Mechanical Lab
The Ulrey Engineering Shop is a fabrication lab that contains manual and CNC mills and lathes, as well as band saws, grinders, presses, a welding station, a wire EDM machine, a plasma cutter and equipment to perform mechanical analysis and make viscosity measurements.
Circuits Lab
Our Analog Circuits Lab introduces students to basic circuit operations using discrete test equipment to measure component values, voltage, current and time-based waveforms. Our Digital Circuits Lab contains an integrated computer-based test system that allows students to take measurements using software control.
Civil Lab
The Civil Lab is an 800-square-foot space equipped with an aggregate splitter, aggregate shaker, atterberg limit apparatus, industrial oven and a concrete breaker for geotechnical labs and concrete testing.
