The certificate is a visible credential verifying language skills in a way employers can easily see and understand.
Our graduate certificate is offered 100% online. The program is flexible and can be completed in one year with two courses per semester or at a slower pace. Classes are asynchronous, making the program more practical for non-traditional students.
Students can start the program in fall, spring or summer.
Level 1 RWS Certification through SDL Trados is available to students through the business and technology course.
Participation in the Global Seal of Biliteracy allows students to pursue other language-related credentials at a discounted cost.
Development and learning opportunities — Students will be invited to attend local and national annual conferences to learn about translation trends and opportunities.
Practical application and community service through the Center for Translation, a language service provider that offers language services for free or at reduced rates as part of our commitment to serving the Harding and Searcy communities.
Community outreach offered through the department provides students opportunities to use the target language in service to others.
Internship opportunities may be available.
