Belles and Beaux is a vocal and instrumental band that performs a wide variety of today's popular songs, as well as the cool hits of yesterday. The group performs all over the United States and accepts bookings for events such as youth conferences and banquets. Most of their repertoire is secular, but they also sing Christian a cappella songs. Additional information can be obtained by emailing Chuck Hicks at chicks@harding.edu.
Chuck Hicks received his MSE from Harding in 1997 and has a strong background in music performance and stringed instruments. His musical talents have been interspersed with graphic design and marketing experience. Active in the university's study abroad program for 11 years, Hicks has taken student groups to Germany and Hungary and has also taught at the Harding campus in Florence, Italy. He teaches private guitar in the Department of Music and also directs the a cappella group, The Good News Singers.
