Vocal Performance at Harding

The Bachelor of Music in vocal performance requires intensive study and practice in the principle performance area and prepares students for private studio instruction, upper-level teaching, graduate study and performance.

The Harding University Department of Music provides a high-quality music education in a nurturing spiritual environment. A low student-to-faculty ratio enables students to receive personalized attention from faculty as they strive for excellence in the classroom, rehearsal hall and private studio. Students can perform in a variety of large and small ensembles on and off campus.

Mentoring opportunities

Opportunities to teach and mentor young preparatory students are available through the Searcy Community School of Music, which is housed within the department’s facility.
