Lectureship is a tradition that is as old as Harding University. Since our very first fall as a four-year college, students and friends of Harding have gathered from across the country and around the world for this special occasion. Lectureship has always been part-homecoming, part-revival, part-intensive Bible study and part-celebration of the University itself.
The Bloom Conference, formerly known as Women in God's Service (WINGS), is an annual conference for women of all ages hosted by the College of Bible and Ministry at Harding. This fun event is hosted each winter and normally draws guests from several states as well as students and employees of Harding.
Uplift is a summer camp for students entering the 7th grade through graduating seniors on the campus of Harding University. While most campers come with their youth groups, they can also come individually. Each day, students will go to classes and hear speakers, with plenty of time devoted to recreation and entertainment. They stay in Harding's dormitories at night and eat in the campus cafeteria. Learn more about dates and registration at upliftonline.com.
Kerusso is a week-long preacher training camp for 9th-12th grade high school boys. Students spend the week on Harding's campus learning Bible study methods and sermon preparation and delivery from faculty, students, and friends. More importantly, perhaps, is that they learn that they, too, can serve the LORD in a lifetime of ministry.
Please prayerfully consider any young men from your congregation whom you feel may benefit from this type of instruction and inspiration, and offer to connect them to Kerusso. The usual fee is $200. Applications and contact information are all available on this page. Also, be sure to look up previous year's Kerusso Experience on Facebook to see pictures and videos from the week. Feel free to call or e-mail any of us with any questions that you might have, and to pass on this information to any who might be interested.
We seek nothing more than to serve the LORD and his church through this endeavor. We solicit your prayers and your partnership as we aspire to raise up a new generation of kingdom servants.
