Youth Minister's Conference January 30 - January 31, 2025

About

Harding's Family Ministry exists to make connections. We connect churches with students interested in serving families in a congregational setting.

Many churches all over the U.S. seek to hire Harding students and graduates to serve as summer interns and full-time ministers to adolescents, children, college students, and more.

The Center for Family Ministries facilitates this connection by hosting church visits, coordinating intern fairs and taking students to the National Conference on Youth Ministry.

8:00 p.m. Dessert bar and Fellowship:
Time for attendees to spend time catching up with friends and getting to know fellow ministers.

Friday, January 31st, 2025

9:00 a.m. Purposeful Summer Internships (Justin Hammond)
10:00 a.m. Connection Groups:
Attendees will have structured time to talk
about the highs and lows of ministry and offer support and encouragement to
one another.
11:00 a.m. Book Talk Round Table (Scott Adair, Luke Dockery, Tyler Vesperman):
Presenters will share research and resources on key issues facing youth ministers today, including the mental health crisis among students and digital technology, sexuality and gender, and burnout and sustainability.
12:00 p.m. Farewell Lunch

For a one-hour seminar credit register on Pipeline on or before the first day of the workshop by using the "Add/Drop" link in the "My Classes" section.
