International Business Major

The international business major is for students who wish to increase their understanding of global markets and various regions of the world. Graduates will be prepared for a career involving the coordination of human and material resources toward the achievement of international goals for a company, organization or government. Harding business majors are recognized internationally for excellence in scholarship and character. Our alumni network spans the globe and provides excellent opportunities for internships and full-time employment. As a result, more than 90% of our students are employed in their disciplines within three months of graduation.

Why study international business at Harding?

Center for Professional Excellence

The Center for Professional Excellence helps form connections that lead to internships, mentorships and careers. Additionally, the center exists as a valuable resource to alumni, assisting them in their professional careers and spiritual journey. We want to be a conduit of information between current students, alumni and employers, providing insight for career decisions and job searches.

International Business Society

The purpose of the International Business Society is to provide cultural interaction between students interested in international business and to gain business skills and awareness about opportunities involved in global business. This organization also joins the Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration in its mission to prepare Christian business professionals for lives of service and strives to emphasize the importance of Christian principles in their future business careers.

Study abroad

The four-week College of Business Administration study abroad program in London provides exposure to broad international businesses, multi-cultural diversity and extensive history. Students meet with and learn from industry leaders and see how businesses perform in a vast global environment.
