Competition Teams
American Marketing Association (AMA) Case Team
The AMA Case Team is for the top marketing students in the Carter College of Business as determined by the marketing faculty. The teams receive a case brief at the beginning of the fall semester which is sponsored by a company looking for marketing insight. The team answers this brief with a written case comprised of a situation analysis, primary research and analysis, a positional marketing statement and culminates with an integrated marketing communications plan. If the team places in the top eight nationally, they summarize their written case answer in a presentation to the sponsoring company’s marketing directors at the annual International AMA Conference in New Orleans. There is currently only one team competing from Harding each year.
