What can you do with a degree in middle-level education?

Middle school teachers

Whether you choose to specialize in English, language arts, social science, or math and science, you'll be fostering academic growth and social and personal development during a crucial period of transition. You'll create engaging lesson plans facilitate classroom activities, promote critical thinking and collaboration, and assess student progress. Overall, you'll play a crucial role in the lives of young people as you prepare them for success in high school and beyond.

Preschool teachers

As a preschool teacher, you'll nurture and educate young children in a stimulating and safe environment. Preschool teachers create engaging lesson plans, facilitate learning through play, and promote social and emotional development. They support early literacy and numeracy skills, encourage creativity, and foster a love for learning, laying a solid foundation for future academic success.

Literacy interventionists

A role as a literacy interventionist in elementary education focuses on providing targeted support to students struggling with reading and language skills. Interventionists assess students' literacy levels, develop personalized intervention plans and implement evidence-based strategies to improve reading comprehension and fluency. Literacy interventionists play a crucial role in ensuring all students achieve proficiency in literacy skills essential for academic success.

Our priority is helping students achieve career and life goals through teaching, leading and creating the foundation needed to make a difference in people's lives.
