Honors Academic Programs

The Honors College offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that satisfies requirements in the University’s liberal arts core and allows students to individualize their education in major-specific courses through honors contracts.

The honors curriculum seeks to help students become stronger communicators, critical thinkers and contributors to society through learning experiences that are measurably broader, deeper or more complex than typical offerings at institutions of higher education.

The following requirements are listed for new students in this academic year and for prospective students. Current students should consult the academic catalog associated with their first semester at Harding for the requirements associated with their graduation and reach out to honors@harding.edu if they have any questions.

Additional requirements must be met to graduate with Honors College recognition.
